I want to thank you so much for your ongoing support and participation. Without you, this project would be nothing.

For me, it goes far beyond “another Echelon project.” For me, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. Its a chance for all the Echelon family to get together, pouring out their creativity and beautiful talent, and getting to know the deep parts of ourselves that took us so very long to find. Watching the videos you have sent in, reading the stories you have shared, and looking at the pictures you have contributed has inspired me more then any Mars song, album, or concert. 

I promise, with everything in me, to make this film the best that I can. To show the Echelon for what we really are. 

This film is going to be the rawest, truest, and most powerful film you have ever seen. 

Why?

Because YOU made it. 

These are your stories.

Each contribution, be it a video, photo, or story, is a piece that makes up the true heart of the Echelon.

I can sit here all day thanking you for not only inspiring me, but for inspiring everyone around you. You may not realize it, but the Echelon are like a wild fire. We ignite everything we touch, consuming it completely until we’ve burned its existence down and remain the only traceable source. We are the most powerful force to walk the face of the earth. We are more powerful then society itself. 

Why?

We live with every piece of our being. We love, dream, and believe until we die. 

Listen to me: You are all the most amazing people EVER. You are all beautiful and daring, brave and bold, creative and genius. I wont stop until you all realize this to be true.

I know I am no Jared Leto, and maybe my words would mean more to you if it did come from someone you adored and admired, but I’m speaking truths you cant ignore.

Dont ever let anyone bring you down. Fight for your dreams until you cant fight anymore. And then rest a while so you can get back up and continue to fight. They can and will come true. I’ve seen it happen.

Never loose faith in yourself. People will fail you, so its important to never have faith in YOU and what YOU do.

I will always be here for each and every one of you.

I hope one day I can meet you all face to face so I can tell each of you individually how amazing you are.

The Untitled Echelon Project Teaser 2

This is a Phase that everyone who has access to a computer and who has an email address can contribute to. 

I have created a blogger, http://theuntitledechelon.blogspot.com/

What we want to accomplish with this is to have a collection of stories from the Echelon about how 30 Seconds to Mars has impacted their lives. 

The first 100 people to contact @EchelonUntitled on Twitter saying they want to contribute a story to the blog will be asked for their email address and then given the proper permissions to post on the blog. After you post your story, your access will be removed so that someone else can post, and this will continue until every single last Echelon who has a story to tell will be able to post.

You can write personal letters to the band and post it, you can tell your personal story of how the band has gotten you through tough times, you can talk about what the music means to you and how it has changed your life. 

Please include your name and location when you post.

Anything you would like to express in WRITING can be put on this blog.

For this Phase of the Untitled Echelon Project, we are going to provide you with a list of questions that we would like you to pick and choose to answer in a video response. Please only choose ONE question to answer from the list below. Some questions may be mandatory to answer. If so, you must answer the mandatory question and then choose another question to answer, unless you only want to answer the mandatory question.

These are questions that require alot of thought, and a more extended response. All you have to do is pick a question and record yourself answering it.

The List:

• What Does 30 Seconds to Mars mean to you?*
• What would you do if one day you woke up to discover that 30 Seconds to Mars disbanded and would never continue making music again.
• If aliens from another planet came down from earth and wanted to know what 30 Seconds to Mars was all about, how would you explain it to them?
• If you were stuck in an elevator with Tomo and Jared, (This gives you the opportunity to say anything to them) what would you discuss with them? Why?
• If you could ask Shannon Leto anything in the world, and he had to answer truthfully, what would you ask him? Why?

*This question HAS to be answered by everyone participating in this Phase.

Its time to go to war!

We are teaming up with Jared-Leto.net to bring you this Phase in the Echelon Documentary.

We are asking all of the Echelon to send in a photo of themselves following specific guidelines to participate in our run of what we like to call, “Faces of Echelon.”

We are basically re-creating the “Faces of Mars” album covers, only we will add the word “Echelon” and the title of our documentary.

To participate, all you have to do is take a photo of yourself looking directly into the camera, (as seen in the Faces of Mars).

Send the untouched and Uncropped (NOT CUT) photos to echelon@jared-leto.net. 

Please make sure you do not alter the photos in any way shape or form!

We will do the altering!

Echelon Soldiers:

If you have organized an Echelon project at any point, we would like to extend a special invitation to feature you in the documentary. We have heard of Echelon divisions of different countries organizing their own “Rides” and other Mars based projects and promo teams. If you are the rightful owner of footage of these projects and would like to have your project featured in the documentary, send an email talking about your project (in a video) with the footage of the event to echelonmission@gmail.com.
